il_fullxfull.2137942931_7sf9.jpg。This is a unique hat from the fashionable 1940s\' made of black mouton. The inside is lined with a shiny black fabric. The fur has been styled in the style of a beret. The outstanding features of this hat are the rosette made of black grosgrain, plus the gorgeous yellow curly feathers it secures to the hat. A stunning piece of millinery history! Label: NEW YORK CREATION - SIZE 22 The New York Creation label was created by a group of well-known designers who wanted to remain anonymous & wanted to support the New York Creation label & keep it competitive with French styles of the era. The label is small, white and blue. Hats bearing this label are highly sought after. Please keep in mind that you are buying a vintage hat, not new nor perfect! This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years. Feathers, straw, furs, flowers & veils are fragile, given their age. Mannequin not for sale.
