40s/50s Navy or Black Wide Brim Straw Picture Hat With Silk 。This is a magnificent 1950s\' pale gold straw very wide brim hat. The round crown is low, surrounded by a very wide brim. There is a matching color velour band around the crown that ends in a bow at the back. At one side of the crown there is a beautiful fabric flowers with green leaves and stems. Throughout the 1950s, ladies wore hats daily as a part of their attire as was a pair of gloves. Post war 1940’s and 1950’s saw many women choosing not to wear hats on a regular basis.
