These were my first heritage boots and I have since upgraded to several pairs of Parkhurst boots. With that, I have not worn these much. They are a great first pair but I just don’t wear them much. I have worn maybe 15-20 times. They have plenty of life left and should go to a home where they will be worn more. They have not been conditioned (they don’t need anything). They are brushed after most wears. I did remove the black edging from the side of the welt and midsole for a more antiqued look. If you don’t like that look, the black edging is an easy add.
